Detroit: Toyota FT-CH concept

Despite having a designated slot on a stand in the eco-friendly ‘Green Avenue’ at the Detroit show, it would seem the new Toyota FT-CH concept still managed to incur the wrath of a motor show parking warden. Is that new clamp designed to counteract the potent force of a hybrid rear-wheel-drive-system?

Honda CR-Z inspired by failure

Design boss Nobuki Ebisawa explains the relationship between the original design sketches of the new Honda CR-Z and his crumpled jacket. Both are, apparently, influenced by ancient Japanese origami, and not the result of being screwed up and chucked on the floor.
